3 Days Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru Package Overview
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies northwest of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
Depart from Nairobi at 0830hrs. First, stop at View Point for exquisite scenery of the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Naivasha after 1 hours’ drive. You can spend the rest of the day at the shores of Lake Naivasha.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge/camp.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru-Lake Naivasha
Early breakfast at the lodge the go for excursions at hells gate national park. You can spend the afternoon at Lake Naivasha which is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores.
Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch, and 350 other species. Boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on Crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close are optional. You can also go for a swim at the geothermal spa.
Dinner and overnight and your safari lodge.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast, we leave for Nairobi. We arrive in the early afternoon and drop you at the place of your choice within Nairobi.
