Description

Experience a unique and memorable safari, combining stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, cultural encounters, and adventure activities in the heart of northern Kenya's wilderness.This reserve is renowned for its unique wildlife, including the Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, the endangered Wild Dog, and the Pancake Tortoise, as well as being a habitat for African Elephants. Starting and concluding in Nairobi, this tour features comfortable mid-range safari lodges or tented camps. It includes road transportation from Nairobi and up to four private game drives in the reserve. Additional activities such as nature walks or cultural visits in the vicinity are also available.

• January 1 to June 30, 2024: $650 per person.
• July 1 to December 30, 2024: $850 per person.

Itinerary Highlights:

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

• Depart from Nairobi commencing your journey to the semi-arid Samburu Game Reserve.
• Arrive samburu in time for lunch.
• Arrive in samburu for an excting afternoon drive.
• Dinner and overnight at Samburu Game Lodge or Ashnil Samburu Camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

• Spend an entire day in Samburu with morning and afternoon safari drives.
• Enjoy some free time for the rest of the day. You might choose to unwind by the pool, or consider booking an additional activity like a nature walk, a cultural visit in the surrounding area, or indulge in a soothing massage, depending on your accommodation (note that extra activities will incur additional costs).
• Dinner and an overnight stay at either Samburu Game Lodge or Ashnil Samburu Camp."

Day 3:Samburu - Nairobi

• Early morning safari drive.
• Breakfast will be served, followed by the checkout process at your lodge.
   
• Depart Samburu for Nairobi
• Drop off at your hotel or free transfer to the airport for your flight home.
